Deck overview

This deck is a focused mono-red Voltron build piloted by Thorin, Mountain-king. The game plan revolves around casting cheap Equipment during the first three turns, then casting Thorin on Turn 4. Thorin's enter-the-battlefield ability attaches all controlled Equipment to himself for free, bypassing cumulative equip costs while immediately using his power to bite and eliminate an opposing blocker. On Turn 5, Thorin attacks with overwhelming power, trample, and layers of protection, eliminating opponents in rapid succession with lethal commander damage. A dense protective suite of hexproof, shroud, and indestructible Equipment shields Thorin once assembled. The deck trades away stack interaction and fast mana for high threat density and board dominance, closing games reliably by Turn 7.
