A Tough Life by riledantics

Format: Commander

Commander: Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper and Prava of the Steel Legion

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan partner list pairs Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper and Prava of the Steel Legion into a go-wide tokens strategy that converts toughness into combat damage and life. Prava anthems tokens and repeatedly spits out Soldiers while Ikra turns every connecting body into a massive life swing; the 99 backs this with token doublers, ETB life engines, and drain payoffs. Primary wins come from overwhelming combat (often with damage equal to toughness via Assault Formation, Felothar the Steadfast, or Bedrock Tortoise) or from life-gain drains off Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Enduring Tenacity. Alternate finishes include Halo Fountain's fifteen-creature win and Aetherflux Reservoir once life totals balloon. The deck is a classic midrange token swarm that grinds value, protects its board, and closes through sheer numbers rather than infinite combos.
