Thranduil by 5IZE

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is the primary engine of a Sultai elfball build. The deck first develops mana with small elf druids, then uses self-mill and tutors to load the graveyard with utility elves so Thranduil can activate their abilities from the graveyard. Secondary plans are token generation and legendary-elf draw chains, with Lathril and Abomination of Llanowar as the main payoff bodies. The fastest clean finishers are mass pumps (Ezuri, Tyvar, Beastmaster Ascension) or a Jarad-style sacrifice of an unusually large Abomination via Thranduil. The listed commander is single-faced, so there is no alternate face to build around.
