Deck overview

This deck is a Simic engine list commanded by Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius that converts alternative casting zones—exile, graveyard, and plot—into immense mana velocity and card advantage. By providing a continuous 2-mana discount on spells cast from exile or the graveyard, Doc Aurlock transforms mechanics like foretell, adventure, disturb, flashback, and plot into hyper-efficient plays. The primary win condition relies on assembling four copies of Biovisionary in a single turn using discounted copy spells such as Croaking Counterpart, Cackling Counterpart, Visage Bandit, and Rite of Replication, triggering an instant table-wide victory on the end step. Resilient secondary plans leverage token engines like Koma, Cosmos Serpent and Talrand, Sky Summoner, hand-disrupting synergy with Uba Mask, and massive spell chaining through Jadzi, Oracle of Arcavios and Archmage Emeritus.
