Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu kindred build that maximizes the Eminence ability of Edgar Markov. By casting low-cost Vampire spells during the first three turns, you automatically construct a wide token army from the command zone without expending extra cards or mana. On Turn 4 and Turn 5, the strategy shifts toward aggressive combat payoffs using lords, damage doublers, and life drain engines like Sanctum Seeker and Blood Artist. When Edgar Markov enters combat, he places +1/+1 counters across your entire Vampire board, rapidly presenting lethal pressure to all opponents. Card advantage engines such as Skullclamp and Welcoming Vampire turn disposable 1/1 tokens into reliable card draw. As a backup win condition, the deck packs the two-card infinite combo of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond to close games through life loss triggers. While vulnerable to board wipes, the deck rebuilds quickly thanks to continuous Eminence triggers.
