Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Zurgo Stormrender to spearhead an aggressive token swarm and aristocrats strategy. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient attack-triggered token producers such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, and Caesar, Legion's Emperor alongside early impact enablers. When Zurgo attacks, its Mobilize ability spawns attacking tokens that fuel continuous card draw if they perish during combat or deal direct drain damage to all opponents whenever they leave the battlefield otherwise. The deck rapidly scales its board presence through token doublers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus and mass stat pumps like Dollmaker's Shop // Porcelain Gallery. Opponents face immense pressure from both wide combat swings and inevitable burn from Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator, and Goblin Bombardment. While resilient against spot removal and standard wraths via protection spells like Grand Crescendo and Selfless Spirit, the deck remains vulnerable to mass exile effects and relies on raw draw flow rather than tutors to find top-end finishers.
