And my axe... by Harazahn

Format: Commander

Commander: Dáin of the Ancient Halls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck built around Dain of the Ancient Halls, whose haste attacks convert the number of Dwarves you control into direct damage to every opponent. The primary plan is to build a wide Dwarf board and attack with Dain each turn; the secondary plan is a Treasure engine-Magda, Thorin King, and Smaug-that turns artifacts into tutoring, card flow, and a flying Dragon kill condition. Equipment like Sunforger, Embercleave, and Hammer of Nazahn give voltron reach and instant-speed protection. Smaug the Magnificent acts as a hidden commander: Magda can place it directly, and There and Back Again creates a second copy. The deck can also win through Cadric token copies of Dain or a massive An Unexpected Party token wave.
