New Untitled Deck by user8809691

Format: Commander

Commander: Bello, Bard of the Brambles

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bello, Bard of the Brambles is the engine of this Gruul deck: during your turn he turns expensive artifacts and enchantments into 4/4 Elemental attackers with indestructible, haste, and a combat-damage draw trigger. The primary plan is to ramp into Bello, animate a stream of mana-value-four-or-greater noncreature permanents, and multiply their damage with Unnatural Growth, Gratuitous Violence, and Berserkers' Onslaught. Secondary paths use big creatures like Ghalta, Goreclaw, and Etali, plus token and landfall value. There is no hidden commander; Kodama of the East Tree is a value engine, not a second strategy. The deck is heavily dependent on Bello, so protecting him and attacking every turn is the core requirement.
