Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jeskai Equipment Voltron build centered on Captain America, First Avenger. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana on the opening turns to deploy the commander on turn 3, followed by utilizing his Catch trigger on turn 4 to attach high-cost Equipment like Colossus Hammer or Genji Glove for free. This creates an immediate lethal commander damage clock while preserving mana to activate his Throw ability for board control or reach. A dense suite of equipment tutors including Fighter Class, Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, and Fabricate ensures consistent access to key tools. Strong protective gear like Brotherhood Regalia, Winged Boots, and Swiftfoot Boots insulates the commander against single-target removal, while alternate legends like Bruenor Battlehammer and Danitha, Benalia's Hope maintain pressure if Captain America is delayed. The deck excels at rapidly eliminating individual opponents through evasive combat damage and direct burn.
