Deck overview

This Naya lands-matter deck, helmed by Toph, the First Metalbender, is built around the earthbend mechanic - turning lands into hasty creature-lands with +1/+1 counters. The commander's end-step earthbend 2 and artifact-to-land ability (exploited by Mycosynth Lattice and Liquimetal Coating/Liquimetal Torque) fuel a relentless landfall engine featuring Lotus Cobra, Tireless Provisioner, Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, Rampaging Baloths, Felidar Retreat, and Field of the Dead. The deck wins through combat, chaining extra combats with Bumi, Unleashed and Moraug, Fury of Akoum while Toph, Greatest Earthbender grants double strike to the land army. Terra Eternal and The Ozolith make the board nearly impossible to remove permanently, while Heroic Intervention, Flawless Maneuver, and The Stasis Coffin protect the winning turn.
