Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet spellslinger and storm archetype commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around casting Vivi Ornitier early, using low-cost cantrips and pump spells to rapidly grow Vivi's power, and tapping Vivi for massive bursts of colored mana via its {0} activated ability. Each noncreature spell cast triggers Vivi to add +1/+1 counters and deal direct damage to every opponent. Synergies like Curiosity and Tandem Lookout convert each spell cast into drawing 3 cards, enabling near-limitless hand refilling. The deck cascades through its library on Turn 5 using cost reducers, Storm-Kiln Artist, and damage amplifiers like Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription, culminating in a table-wide burn kill or a lethal Crackle with Power. Backed by cheap counterspells and independent backup combos via Niv-Mizzet, Parun, the deck balances swift velocity with resilient burn inevitability.
