Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy engine commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary strategy leverages under-costed, high-power creatures such as Pugnacious Hammerskull, Gigantosaurus, and Regal Imperiosaur to reduce Ghalta's casting cost to its minimum of {G}{G} as early as Turn 4. Once assembled, the deck converts massive board power into card advantage via Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise, refilling the hand continuously. Critical onset occurs on Turn 5 when Ghalta and supporting beaters attack with trample. The deck closes out games around Turn 7 through overwhelming combat steps empowered by team-wide multipliers like Unnatural Growth and Overwhelming Stampede. While weak to mass exile sweepers and counterspells, the deck possesses high creature redundancy and quick recovery times.
