Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red burn and group-slug strategy commanded by Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might. The deck leverages its commander's ability to raise any red noncombat damage dealt to opponents up to its power (base 4). By pairing this replacement effect with low-cost pingers such as Coruscation Mage and Electrostatic Field, or symmetric punishers like Manabarbs and Roiling Vortex, the deck turns minor chip damage into lethal bursts. It establishes its primary setup by Turn 4 and threatens decisive life total collapse by Turn 5. Backup damage multipliers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus provide alternate avenues to amplify burn. While the deck applies immense life-total pressure and punishes greedy land bases, it suffers from light defensive shielding, low raw card advantage, and vulnerability to targeted creature removal.
