Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Temur ramp and cascade stompy list helmed by Maelstrom Wanderer. The core game plan focuses on deploying dense 1-2 CMC mana dorks, land ramps, and artifact rocks to accelerate straight to eight mana by turn 4 or 5. Upon reaching eight mana, casting Maelstrom Wanderer unleashes two cascade triggers, cheating massive threats directly from the library onto the battlefield while granting all creatures haste for an immediate attack. The payoff package includes devastating elder dragons such as Terror of the Peaks, Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, and Old Gnawbone, as well as game-ending cascade chains from Apex Devastator. The list intentionally eschews traditional counterspells to prevent 'whiffing' on cascade hits, trading stack interaction for explosive board presence, raw mana generation, and rapid multi-opponent combat finishes.
