Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is built around Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel, combining classic lifegain synergies with high-capacity mana acceleration. Early turns establish mana rocks and incremental lifegain triggers like Soul Warden and Kambal, Consul of Allocation. Once the commander lands, any lifegain trigger converts into massive card draw at parity life. The deck leverages black mana doublers such as Crypt Ghast, Nirkana Revenant, and Caged Sun to fuel massive game-ending sorceries including Debt to the Deathless and Exsanguinate, or to storm into Aetherflux Reservoir. A robust reanimation package ensures high resilience against board wipes, while a low-curve removal suite handles opposing threats efficiently.
