Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Goblin tribal list commanded by The Great Goblin. The strategy synergizes classic go-wide Goblin swarm tactics with modern counter mechanics, particularly Amass Orcs, Amass Goblins, and Blight. The commander acts as both a burn engine and an attrition buffer, dealing 2 damage to an opponent whenever any counter is placed on a Goblin, Orc, or Army, while exiling cards to play whenever your non-token or token Goblins die. The deck develops by playing cheap Goblin bodies and token-producing spells in the early turns, establishing the commander on Turn 3, and applying steady pressure with counters on Turn 4. By Turn 6, it converts wide boards into decisive damage using team-wide pump effects like Battle Cry Goblin and Goblin Trashmaster. Because it lacks extensive protection and fast mana, it wins through continuous creature deployment and incremental direct damage.
