Heroes by fatboi904

Format: Commander

Commander: Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Leonardo, the Balance is the true five-color engine: his {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} ability gives the army evasion and lifelink, while his token-enters trigger turns every token generator into a one-shot +1/+1 pump. Michelangelo, the Heart is the secondary commander and the raid engine: attacking creates a Food token and a counter, which feeds the same counter/token machine. The primary plan is to build a wide board of Mutants, Ninjas, and tokens, pump it with +1/+1 counters, then finish with extra combat and double damage from the Raphael/Raph-and-Leo packages. Secondary paths use Shredder and Dark Leo & Shredder to halve opponent life totals while the main board pushes through. There is no double-faced commander; the hidden engine in the 99 is the Donatello/Basking Broodscale token-and-Mutagen interaction.
