Deck overview

This deck is a Simic big-mana tribal strategy built around Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep and high-cost Sea Monsters (Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents). The primary plan accelerates mana during the opening turns using green land ramp, mana rocks, and cost-reducers. On Turn 4, the deck deploys Kiora, followed on Turn 5 by a massive 6- to 8-mana sea creature. Kiora's triggered ability cascades into an additional free spell from the top of the library, rapidly doubling the deck's board presence. The deck applies critical pressure on Turn 5 with overwhelming stats and disruptive enters-the-battlefield abilities from threats like Hullbreaker Horror, Koma, Cosmos Serpent, and Scourge of Fleets. It closes the game on Turn 7 by breaking board stalls through asymmetric bounce spells such as Whelming Wave or unblockability from Serpent of Yawning Depths. While highly resilient against targeted removal thanks to ward and hexproof, the strategy remains susceptible to early fast combos and well-timed mass exile sweepers.
