Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Mardu combat and token deck commanded by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The strategy focuses on curving into Isshin on Turn 3, deploying an attack-triggered token producer on Turn 4, and attacking on Turn 5 to double token creation and damage triggers. Cards like Hero of Bladehold, Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, and Commissar Severina Raine generate overwhelming attacking armies and massive group-drain life loss. The deck also includes an infinite combat combo using Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Combat Celebrant. Card advantage is maintained through token-based draw engines such as Skullclamp and Idol of Oblivion, supported by efficient spot removal like Swords to Plowshares and Damn. While lacking proactive stax elements and instant-speed stack counters, the deck applies severe combat pressure and rebuilds effectively using redundant threats.
