Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact-midrange strategy commanded by Aerid Konstrari. It focuses on accumulating artifact tokens—specifically Heartwood tokens that produce mana—to accelerate into high-impact threats and fuel massive power buffs. The gameplan transitions from early mana rocks into deploying Aerid on Turn 4, followed by scaling activations that turn the commander into an evasive airborne threat. Mid-to-late turns leverage synergies with power-scaling finishers like Craterclaw Colossus and Hellkite Igniter, supported by burst card draw effects like Life's Legacy and Momentous Fall. An included infinite mana loop with Cradle Clearcutter and Voltaic Construct provides an alternate burst win condition. While resilient against targeted disruption via versatile redirect spells, the deck operates predominantly at sorcery speed through combat, leaving it vulnerable to coordinated interaction and table wipes.
