Lluwen Graveyard Shift by Buddadragon

Format: Commander

Commander: Lluwen, Exchange Student // Pest Friend

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a robust Golgari Graveyard Midrange strategy helmed by Lluwen, Exchange Student // Pest Friend. The primary game plan is to aggressively self-mill to fill the graveyard while generating incremental value from token creation and recursion. Lluwen provides a steady stream of Pest tokens that drain opponents on attack and, critically, his activation cost of exiling creature cards from the graveyard directly fuels the deck s powerful leaves your graveyard payoffs like Amzu, Swarm s Hunger, Tormod, the Desecrator, and Insidious Roots. The ultimate path to victory is assembling the Yawgmoth, Thran Physician engine with a token generator (Chatterfang, Amzu, or Lluwen himself) to draw the deck and wipe the board, or overwhelming opponents through mass land animation via Aftermath Analyst and Hedge Shredder combined with combat pumps from Blossoming Bogbeast or Summon: Titan. It is a highly resilient grind deck that excels in attrition wars, almost entirely built around the synergy between its commander and the graveyard.
