Deck overview

This is a midrange Earthbending Landfall deck helmed by Toph, the First Metalbender. The commander turns nontoken artifacts into lands and earthbends every end step, converting rocks, artifact lands, and Liquimetal targets into hasty land-creatures that grow with +1/+1 counters. The plan floods the board with earthbent lands, multiplies counters via The Earth Crystal and Solid Ground, and crushes through combat with double strike, trample, and extra combats from the various Toph and Bumi payoffs. Primary wins are wide, evasive combat damage; a supporting infinite-combat line uses Bumi, Unleashed once he is metalbent into a land creature. Landfall engines (Rampaging Baloths, Avenger of Zendikar, Felidar Retreat, Tireless Provisioner) supply tokens and value while the deck ramps aggressively into its 4-6 mana threats.
