Deck overview

Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis commands a mono-black midrange deck centered on exalted combat, sacrifice-based attrition, and burst life drain. The primary plan leverages Nefarox alongside equipment like Blackblade Reforged and Lashwrithe to deliver lethal commander damage while forcing opponents to sacrifice blockers each combat. Edict creatures such as Accursed Marauder and Fleshbag Marauder, paired with Archfiend of Depravity, keep opposing boards clear of threats. As a secondary win condition, the deck generates high black devotion to drain the entire table with Gray Merchant of Asphodel or a late-game Exsanguinate, ensuring victory even if combat stalls.
