Demons by CobraChken

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Mardu Kaalia deck built to cheat oversized Angels, Demons, and Dragons into play during combat. Primary plan uses Kaalia's trigger to drop Master of Cruelties, set a player to 1, and finish with Kaalia's own combat damage. Extra-combat spells and Aurelia, the Warleader create multiple Kaalia triggers in a turn, while Gisela, Avacyn, and Sephara push damage or protect the board. Sneak Attack, Quicksilver Amulet, and reanimation spells provide backup cheat lines. Without Kaalia the deck becomes slow, but protection and a second cheat layer keep it functional. The Bruna/Gisela meld is a subtheme, not the build-around.
