Commander: Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest is the engine at the center of a BG aristocrats build: every sacrifice of a nonland permanent turns into a global +1/+1 counter pump. The deck's primary plan is to generate expendable tokens, sacrifice them through cheap outlets, and finish with trampling, oversized creatures. Secondary paths use sacrificial value engines to draw cards and drain life, with Blood Artist and Dina, Soul Steeper as finishers. A compact infinite combo with Basking Broodscale can end the game on the spot, but the list is not tutor-heavy, so it usually wins by attrition and one overwhelming combat step. There is no hidden commander; Mazirek's trigger is the defining element.
