Deck overview

This Grixis deck leverages Sauron, the Dark Lord alongside nine copies of Nazgûl to generate immense card velocity and overwhelming combat pressure. In the opening turns, early mana rocks and Ring-tempting spells deploy key Wraith threats. Once Sauron resolves, every opposing spell amasses an Orc Army, and every combat connection triggers Ring temptation. This mechanic allows the pilot to discard low-value hands and draw four cards, fueling an explosive draw engine that consistently out-resources opponents. Combat damage is amplified by Orcish Siegemaster, Bolg, Erebor's Reckoning, and The Black Gate, granting trample and unblockable attributes to massive Armies and deathtouching Nazgûls. If the board is cleared, powerful mass reanimation spells like Living Death and Too Greedily, Too Deep restore the entire legion directly onto the battlefield.
