Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon tribal midrange strategy commanded by The Ur-Dragon. Its passive Eminence ability reduces the casting cost of all Dragon spells by one mana from the start of the game, allowing the deck to accelerate smoothly into powerful mid-curve threats. The early game focuses on establishing mana fixing through ramp spells, cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman, and artifacts. By Turn 4, the deck deploys high-utility Dragons like Goldspan Dragon, Ganax, Astral Hunter, and Zurgo and Ojutai to generate Treasure tokens and card velocity. In the mid-to-late game, the deck transitions into an overwhelming aerial beatdown plan powered by damage multipliers such as Terror of Mount Velus, token generators like Utvara Hellkite, and direct damage triggers from Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas. Supported by targeted countermagic and board wipes, the deck closes games rapidly once its flying engine untaps.
