Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-White Angel Tribal and Lifegain Midrange strategy led by Lyra Dawnbringer. The deck focuses on deploying high-toughness flying threats that gain substantial life, triggering powerful payoffs like Righteous Valkyrie, Resplendent Angel, and Archangel of Thune. Early turns focus on mana ramp and low-curve utility creatures such as Giada, Font of Hope, Bishop of Wings, and Esper Sentinel. By Turn 4 to 5, the deck establishes its core engine, curving into Lyra Dawnbringer to grant the entire team +1/+1 and lifelink. This creates massive life totals and rapidly grows an evasive airborne army. The deck closes games through overwhelming aerial combat damage, backed by alternate win conditions like Angel of Destiny and Aetherflux Reservoir. While the deck possesses robust permanent removal and protective spells like Teferi's Protection, its lack of tutors makes it reliant on natural card flow and vulnerable to repeated board wipes.
