Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Temur Dragon Tribal engine commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its core strategy revolves around ramping in the early turns, establishing Miirym, and copying massive Dragon threats to quickly overpower the table. Whenever a nontoken Dragon enters the battlefield, Miirym creates a non-legendary token copy, doubling the board impact, combat stats, and enters-the-battlefield triggers of every Dragon you cast. Payoffs like Atarka, World Render, Scourge of Valkas, and Thrakkus the Butcher convert this duplication into immediate game-ending combat damage and direct burn. Robust ramp pieces, including Delighted Halfling, Birds of Paradise, and Dragonlord's Servant, ensure Miirym arrives ahead of schedule, while uncounterable enablers like Cavern of Souls and protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Fierce Guardianship shield key turns. Standalone engines like Old Gnawbone and Ureni of the Unwritten provide resilience against commander removal, allowing the deck to maintain a fast clock.
