Deck overview

This Sultai deck focuses on snow synergy and big-mana ramp led by Jorn, God of Winter // Kaldring, the Rimestaff. By deploying Jorn on Turn 3 and attacking on Turn 4, the deck untaps all snow lands, artifacts, and creatures, effectively doubling available mana and granting pseudo-vigilance to attackers. The surplus mana fuels massive card draw spells like Glacial Revelation and Graven Lore, while establishing board dominance with scalable beaters such as Abominable Treefolk, Conifer Wurm, and Hailstorm Valkyrie. The deck features an alternate fast-clock line using Dark Depths with Thespian's Stage or Marit Lage's Slumber to summon a 20/20 indestructible flying Marit Lage avatar. A suite of snow-based removal spells, including Dead of Winter, Blood on the Snow, and Oko, Thief of Crowns, keeps opposing boards in check while the deck closes out the game through overwhelming combat damage over two response cycles.
