mono black elves by tntstone08

Format: Commander

Commander: Miara, Thorn of the Glade and Nadier, Agent of the Duskenel

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Miara and Nadier form a mono-black Elf aristocrats pair. Miara is the early draw engine, converting every Elf death into cards, while Nadier is the late token payoff, growing as tokens leave and refunding a swarm when he dies. The deck's primary plan is to generate Elf tokens, sacrifice them to Ashnod's or Phyrexian Altar, and drain the table with Ayara, Bastion of Remembrance, Nadier's Nightblade, and Agent of the Iron Throne. Secondary paths are big-mana Exsanguinate and a large unblockable Nadier swing. Viconia, Drow Apostate acts as a hidden recursion commander in the 99, returning creatures from the graveyard each upkeep. The deck is resilient but has no true combo finish.
