Life is a Resource by Trey103

Format: Commander

Commander: Selenia, Dark Angel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Selenia, Dark Angel leads an Orzhov life-total combo deck. The primary plan is to spend life as a resource, reduce your own total to zero with Selenia or other pay-life enablers, then force opponents to that total with Repay in Kind or life-exchange effects. Secondary paths use large life-gain bursts such as Beacon of Immortality and Children of Korlis, converting that life into table-wide drain through Sanguine Bond, Vito, or Vizkopa Guildmage. Selenia is both a repeatable life-payment outlet and a recastable blocker, but the deck does not depend on her. There is no hidden commander; K'rrik, Tree of Perdition, and Evra are support pieces.
