Commander: Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet artifact-value deck built around transforming Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. The front face is a cheap, repeatable artifact tutor - each {1},{T} digs four cards and puts an artifact in hand - while the back face, after paying the {4}{U}{R} transform tax, cheats one artifact from hand onto the battlefield at each of its own combats and attacks with haste the same turn. The primary kill is commander damage through an Equipment chain: Genji Glove provides double strike and an extra combat phase, Buster Sword converts each hit into draws and free spells, and Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor doubles all damage dealt. Backup plans go wide through Krang, Utrom Warlord, Cyberdrive Awakener, and Threefold Thunderhulk, with Mechanized Production as a long-game alternative. The deck is a mid-speed value engine that can convert one flipped turn into a multi-combat kill.
