Kaalia by user6390195

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a classic Kaalia of the Vast Mardu cheat-in strategy that weaponizes the commander's attack trigger to drop Angels, Demons, and Dragons into combat for free. The deck packs a dense suite of high-impact flyers-Master of Cruelties, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Terror of the Peaks, Valgavoth, Terror Eater-and converts early attacks into immediate table pressure. Primary wins come from combat: life-total manipulation, damage doublers, and extra-combat swings via Aurelia, the Warleader. Secondary paths include reanimation (Reanimate, Whip of Erebos, Reya Dawnbringer) and attrition engines like Archfiend of Despair and Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Protection is premium (Teferi's Protection, free interaction, Grand Abolisher), letting Kaalia connect through disruption. The list plays as a fast, resilient midrange aggro deck that turns one successful attack into a cascading board advantage.
