Deck overview

This is an earthbend-centric midrange combat deck helmed by Toph, the First Metalbender. Toph turns nontoken artifacts into lands and earthbends every end step, converting mana rocks, value artifacts, and even utility pieces into hasty land-creatures that self-replace when removed. The 99 backs this with a dense earthbend package (Bumi, Unleashed, Avatar Kyoshi, Earthbender, Toph, Earthbending Master, Rockalanche, Solid Ground), land-advantage engines (Exploration, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, Spelunking), and ETB doublers (Annie Joins Up, Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, Panharmonicon). Primary wins come from overwhelming combat-especially Craterhoof Behemoth over a wide earthbent board or Bumi, Unleashed chaining extra combats restricted to land creatures. Mycosynth Lattice is a high-ceiling enabler that makes every permanent an artifact (hence a land under Toph). The deck plays as a resilient, snowballing land-creature aggro strategy rather than a pure combo list.
