Commander: Liesa, Shroud of Dusk

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Liesa, Shroud of Dusk commands an Orzhov midrange attrition deck designed to bleed opponents through incremental life loss, tax effects, and creature combat. Liesa bypasses traditional commander tax by paying life instead of mana, allowing her to maintain constant board presence despite removal. The primary win condition revolves around establishing an asymmetric life buffer with Liesa lifelink and drain effects like Starscape Cleric, then grinding down life totals with steady combat damage and team-wide pump spells like Dauntless Unity and Rabbit Response. A deep suite of spot removal and targeted recursion keeps opposing engines in check while preserving your board state.
