Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Azorius artifact and vehicle control deck commanded by Shorikai, Genesis Engine. Shorikai functions from the command zone as both a resilient card-advantage engine and a continuous token producer, avoiding all sorcery-speed creature sweepers and single-target creature removal in its natural uncrewed state. The deck's early turns focus on accelerating mana through low-cost artifact rocks, casting Shorikai on Turn 3, and generating Pilot tokens while aggressively filtering through the library. Untap engines like Unwinding Clock and Drumbellower turn Shorikai into a multi-draw engine on every opponent's turn. The deck transitions into winning board states on Turn 6 either by assembling the infinite mana and card-draw combo of Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal to bounce the entire board with Hullbreaker Horror, or by launching an aerial alpha strike with Cyberdrive Awakener and Parhelion II backed by asymmetric sweepers like Cyclonic Rift and Organic Extinction.
