Double dragons by dcolon54

Format: Commander

Commander: Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm is the deck's engine: every nontoken Dragon that enters makes a nonlegendary copy, doubling each payoff the whole game. The primary plan is to ramp and reduce Dragon costs early, cast Miirym, then bury opponents in doubled Dragons and combat tricks. Secondary lines use Dragon Tempest/Scourge of Valkas pings, Sneak Attack cheats, and tutors like Tooth and Nail or Defense of the Heart to assemble a lethal board. The deck does not have a true hidden commander; Acolyte of Bahamut simply discounts Miirym. Wins come from double strike (Atarka, Terror), extra combat (Scourge of the Throne), or an overrun (Craterhoof), often requiring one big turn to eliminate all three opponents.
