Deck overview

Homer, the Hermit is a Sultai landfall-mill deck that turns every land drop into a weapon. Homer's X scales with the number of Crabs, Lobsters, Nautiluses, Starfish, and Trilobites you control, so the deck floods the board with cheap tribal bodies such as Hedron Crab, Ruin Crab, Iceberg Cancrix, Charix, the Raging Isle, and changelings while chaining extra land drops through Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, Case of the Locked Hothouse, and Exploration Broodship. The long game is powered by mass land recursion from Splendid Reclamation, Will of the Sultai, Conduit of Worlds, Glacierwood Siege, and Hedge Shredder, turning a well-stocked graveyard into one enormous mill turn. Mirelurk Queen, Uchuulon, and Bloodchief Ascension convert all that milling into card advantage and reach. There is no infinite combo; the deck wins through repeated, compounding landfall triggers.
