Koma, World Eater by DrDrillz

Format: Commander

Commander: Koma, World-Eater

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Simic "big mana sea monster" deck built to accelerate hard, land Koma, World-Eater ahead of curve, and turn his combat trigger into a board of 3/3 Serpent tokens. The primary plan is combat: Koma hits for 8 damage, makes four Koma's Coil tokens (eight with Doubling Season), and the swarm then wins through Craterhoof Behemoth or simple overwhelming numbers. The 99 is full of landfall draw and extra-land effects in Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, Tatyova, Benthic Druid, and Loot, Exuberant Explorer, with Kenessos, Priest of Thassa and Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy acting as secondary cheating engines. A compact backup combo exists in Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage, fetchable by Tempt with Discovery. The deck is commander-centric but not all-in; Koma's ward {4} and uncounterability make him sticky, though the deck has almost no board-level protection once he is gone.
