Deck overview

This Temur Dragon Tribal deck is spearheaded by Ureni of the Unwritten, designed to ramp rapidly and deploy overwhelming airborne threats ahead of curve. The core game plan focuses on utilizing dense cost reducers and mana rocks—such as Urza's Incubator, Dragonspeaker Shaman, and Arcane Signet—to cast Ureni by Turn 5. Upon entering the battlefield and attacking, Ureni digs eight cards deep to cheat massive Dragons directly into play, including finishers like Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Scourge of the Throne. Haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest allow the deck to bypass summoning sickness and apply immediate combat pressure. While vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and lacking universal tutors, the deck boasts exceptional functional redundancy and resilient standalone threats like Selvala's Stampede and Dracogenesis, allowing it to close games decisively through overwhelming aerial combat damage by Turn 7.
