Deck overview

This deck is a aggressive mono-red midrange strategy centered on Smaug the Magnificent. It rapidly accumulates Treasure tokens to turn Smaug's attack trigger into a massive direct-damage cannon. Early turns focus on establishing mana ramp and Treasure generators like Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and Xorn. On Turn 4, Smaug enters with haste to attack immediately, triggering scaled burn against any target. The deck accelerates this damage using multipliers such as Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, or turns token creation into table-wide life loss through Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist. Defensively, the list relies on efficient redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend to protect its board, before closing out the game on Turn 7 with repeated attack triggers, overrun via Depthshaker Titan, or extra combat phases from Aggravated Assault.
