Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov go-wide aristocrats strategy centered on Commissar Severina Raine. The primary game plan rapidly deploys low-cost creature tokens using enablers like Raise the Alarm, Hop to It, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Oltec Matterweaver. Once a wide board is established, Severina converts every attacking creature into direct, non-combat life loss for each opponent through her Leading from the Front ability, bypassing blockers while dealing additional combat damage. The commander also serves as a card advantage engine, sacrificing expendable tokens for card draw and lifegain to sustain momentum. Scaling payoffs like Thalisse, Reverent Medium, Warren Warleader, Minthara, Merciless Soul, and Eldrazi Monument exponentially amplify the clock, while aristocrats like Zulaport Cutthroat and Starscape Cleric punish board interaction. With versatile removal spells and resilient recursion, the deck steadily drains the entire table simultaneously, achieving reliable victory within two full combat rotations after critical onset.
