Deck overview

This is a Bant "tap/untap value" deck built around Derevi, Empyrial Tactician. The plan is to deploy Derevi early, use her ETB and combat triggers to repeatedly tap or untap permanents, and squeeze extra activations out of cards like Azami, Lady of Scrolls, Thornwind Faeries, Kazandu Tuskcaller, and Rubinia Soulsinger. The deck is not a combo deck; it wins through incremental evasive combat damage, token generation, theft, and eventually a mass-pump turn from cards like Mirror Entity or Tempt with Glory. Roon of the Hidden Realm, Mistmeadow Witch, and Conjurer's Closet form a strong secondary flicker engine, while Karmic Guide provides the only major recursion piece. The commander is an accelerant and enabler rather than a strict win condition, and the list leans on a dense board of utility creatures to out-value opponents over a long game.
