Deck overview

The deck uses Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun to give its instant and sorcery spells split second, then combines selection, countermagic, and mill effects. Its clearest finish is Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries followed by Leveler, which exiles the library. A cantrip then wins through the replacement effect. This line is powerful when assembled, but it needs roughly eight mana, two specific permanents, and a separate draw effect. The deck can also attack opposing libraries with Bruvac the Grandiloquent, Maddening Cacophony, Traumatize, Cut Your Losses, and Tasha's Hideous Laughter, though these effects are less consistently lethal against all three opponents together. Mystic Remora, Archmage Emeritus, and Case of the Ransacked Lab improve card flow, while a large counterspell suite protects key turns. The main weaknesses are slow assembly, limited access to Leveler, and exposure to creature removal before the final draw.
