Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Ygra, Eater of All as both a massive Voltron threat and an engine enabler. By turning all other creatures into Food artifacts, Ygra supercharges artifact-destruction effects into one-sided creature board wipes while growing exponentially. The deck utilizes explosive fast mana and premium tutors to deploy Ygra on turn 3 or 4. Once assembled, the deck dominates the board through continuous aristocrat drain effects, sacrifice synergies, and severe attrition. Victory is achieved either through rapid commander damage after clearing blockers with Bane of Progress or by executing an infinite drain combo using Chatterfang, Squirrel General and Pitiless Plunderer. Dense, free interaction and potent protective spells defend the game plan at critical stages.
