Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Demon tribal and big-mana reanimator list commanded by Ardyn, the Usurper. The deck ramps through artifact mana, cost reducers, and mana doublers like Crypt Ghast to deploy formidable Demon threats ahead of curve. Once Ardyn enters the battlefield, he grants all Demons menace, lifelink, and haste while creating 5/5 Demon copies from graveyards during each combat step. Secondary win conditions include life-loss amplifiers such as Archfiend of Despair, explosive drain from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and mass recursion via Rise of the Dark Realms. The deck excels at sustained combat pressure and life total disparity, though it relies on high mana investments and targeted creature interaction.
