Kratos, God of War by KiraPhoenix

Format: Commander

Commander: Kratos, God of War

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Kratos, God of War mono-red "mythic aggro-control" build that wins by making the table's own creature counts lethal. The plan is to keep boards crowded with tokens and ground creatures-via Varchild, Betrayer of Kjeldor, Goblin Spymaster, Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs, and Star Athlete-so Kratos's end-step trigger deals massive, repeated damage that is then tripled, doubled, and otherwise amplified by Fiery Emancipation, Twinflame Tyrant, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might. The deck layers in an extra-combat package (Combat Celebrant, Godo, Bandit Warlord, Hellkite Charger, World at War) to turn one big Kratos turn into a same-turn kill, plus a Worldfire reset as an alternate end step. It is a tempo-flavored red deck that punishes opponents for playing creatures, tapping lands, and gaining life.
