Deck overview

This deck executes a focused Sultai Voltron and combat-theft strategy commanded by Kotis, the Fangkeeper. It utilizes an efficient suite of 1- and 2-mana acceleration to cast Kotis ahead of curve on turn 3. Once deployed, the deck leverages cheap evasion auras, equipment, and efficient pump spells like Invigorate and Embiggen to ensure Kotis connects unblocked with high power. Each combat connection triggers Kotis's ability, exiling cards from the defending player's library and casting all revealed nonland spells with equal or lower mana value for free. This converts combat pressure directly into overwhelming card and tempo advantage. Because Kotis possesses natural indestructible, standard destroy board wipes are ineffective. The deck protects him against exile and bounce effects using a dense collection of 1-mana instant hexproof spells, systematically eliminating opponents with lethal commander damage by turn 7.
