Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Temur Dragon stompy and combo list helmed by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. It focuses on accelerating ahead of curve using format-tier fast mana artifacts and low-cost mana dorks to deploy Miirym by Turn 3 or 4. Once Miirym is on the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell creates a nonlegendary token copy, causing ETB effects, mana production, and burn triggers to double. Payoffs like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas convert these token copies into immediate, game-ending burn damage, while Old Gnawbone and Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient generate immense mana reserves. The deck also features a compact infinite combat loop with Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated Assault. Supported by a premier suite of free counterspells and protection spells, the deck defends its high-cost engine pieces efficiently against opposing disruption.
